Aqua-Mania supplies a wide range of color coated corrugated Steel Tanks which are not only affordable but flexible for various uses.

 

The Aqua-Mania range of color plus tanks are manufactured from high grade Steel. It is cost effective and easy to erect even as a DIY installation, if you prefer one of our qualified teams can manage the installation. These tanks are ideal for a lodge or game reserve as it blends into the environment.

 

Attractive:

Corrugated tanks have a very furnished and unique appearance. They are considered aesthetically appealing, by many.  This makes the Color plus tank a popular choice for residential, commercial and industrial application.

 

Strong and Durable:

A Corrugated steel tank has 9 times the tensile strength compared to that of a flat steel tank and is more resistant to comprehensive loads. Corrugated tanks are uniquely resistant to the mushrooming and buckling effect caused by earthquakes, hurricanes and other cataclysmic events.

 

Variety of Shapes, Sizes and Capacities:

Aqua-mania offers different standard Color plus water tanks.  Tank sizes vary from 5 500 Lt up to 385 000Lt.

 

Professional tank Construction and erection:

Color plus tanks with a diameter smaller than 10mø don’t require a concrete floor for Installation, merely  a level surface. However  anything larger than 10mø would require a concrete ringbeam filled with a sand base. Color plus tanks are simple and easy to erect, either by one of our qualified teams or as a DIY. The DIY kits come with a step by step Installation manual which will guide you. No need for special or heavy equipment, home tools are sufficient.

Transport:

Our tanks are shipped in sections on pallets. Tanks up to 385 000Lt can be transported easily on a LWB vehicle. Tanks larger than 385 000Lt can be transported on a 3ton truck.

Cost effective:

The steel tanks have a distinct advantage because of their large volume capabilities.

Most Poly (PVC) tanks are limited to 10 000Lt. While it is common for water systems to consist of multiple 10 000Lt tanks tied together in series, this may not always be practical, due to space restrictions.

When storage of a large volume of water is required the Color Plus tank is an obvious choice.

Color plus Domed Roof:

Color plus tanks roofs are optional and only on client request. Tanks can be fitted with either a steel domed roof, Chromodek  or  PVC roof. The steel domed roof is light, weatherproof and can withstand wind speed up to 160km/h. All roof trusses are hot dip galvanized and manufactured from a high quality material. PVC Roofs vary from 550grams up to 950grams.

These are mainly used for grain storage. All steelworks used for PVC Roofs are hot dip galvanized. The roof is the same color as the shell, which enhances the look.

 

Color plus Liners:

All tanks are lined with a 850 grams portable water liner. These liners are non-toxic and is safe for human and animal consumption approved. Because of the ultra modern welding techniques known as high frequency welding a watertight weld is guaranteed. Liners are suitable for Liquid Fertilizer.  Water tank liners are an excellent, cost effective solution for

repairing older water tanks of all shapes and sizes. Liner materials vary. HDPE liners for earth dams are also available.

Portable water tank liners are fabricated from materials that meets NSF61 standards for drinking water. They are maintenance free.
