Aqua-Mania supplies a wide range of corrugated Zincalume steel tanks which are not only affordable but flexible for various uses. It is a quality control steel portable water storage  tank which is designed according to the AWWA D-103, NFPA22 and API-12B Principles. We construct storage tanks to meet your specific requirements.

 

The Aqua-Mania range of corrugated Farmer’s choice tanks are manufactured from high grade Zincalume steel. It is cost effective and easy to erect even as a DIY installation, if you prefer one of our qualified teams can manage the installation. Corrugated plates has a strength of up to 9times more than that of a normal flat sheet.

Strong and Durable:

A Corrugated steel tank has 9 times the tensile strength compared to that of a flat steel tank and is more resistant to comprehensive loads. Corrugated tanks are uniquely resistant to the mushrooming and buckling effect caused by earthquakes, hurricanes and other cataclysmic events.

 

Variety of Shapes, Sizes and Capacities:

Aqua-mania offers more than 80 different standard Farmer’s Choice water tanks.  Tank sizes vary from 11 000 Lt up to 1770 000 (1,770kl). We can make any size reservoir that the client requires.

 

Transport:

Our tanks are shipped in sections on pallets. Tanks up to 260 000 Lt (260kl) can be transported easily on a LWB vehicle. Tanks up to 1770 000Lt (1,770kl) can be transported on a 3ton truck. No need for an interlink. Tanks can be offloaded on-site manually or by means of a forklift. We do Deliveries and Installations nationwide.

 

Professional tank Construction and Erection:

Farmer’s Choice tanks with a diameter smaller than 10mø don’t require a concrete floor for Installation or to seal it, merely  a level surface. However  anything larger than 10mø would require a concrete ring beam filled with a sand base. The Farmer’s choice tanks are simple and easy to erect, either by one of our qualified teams or as a DIY. The DIY kits come with a step by step Installation manual which will guide you. No need for special or heavy equipment, home tools are sufficient. Cost effective:

The steel tanks have a distinct advantage because of their large volume capabilities. Most Poly (PVC) tanks are limited to 10 000Lt. While it is common for water systems to consist of multiple 10 000Lt tanks tied together in series, this may not always be practical, due to space restrictions. When storage of a large volume of water is required the Farmer’s Choice tank is an obvious choice.

The PVC Roof is manufactured from 1000 micron PVC lining that is mostly used for grain storage and which is easily erected. Because of the tensile strength of the lining materials, tanks can be supplied in various heights.

 

The PVC lining is non toxic and is human and animal consumption approved.

Because of the ultra modern welding techniques used a watertight weld is guaranteed. The liners are suitable for liquid fertilizers

 

 

Farmer’s Choice Domed Roof:

 

Farmer’s Choice tanks roofs are optional and only on client request.

Tanks can be fitted with either a steel domed roof, Chromodek  or  PVC roof.

The steel domed roof is light, weatherproof and can withstand wind speed up to 160km/h.

All roof trusses are hot dip galvanized and manufactured from a high quality material.  

PVC Roofs vary from 550grams up to 950grams.

 

These are mainly used for grain storage.

All steelworks used for PVC Roofs are hot dip galvanized.

 

 

Farmer’s Choice Liners:

All tanks are lined with a 850 grams portable water liner.

These liners are non-toxic and is safe for human and animal consumption approved.

Because of the ultra modern welding techniques known as high frequency welding a watertight weld is guaranteed.

 

Liners are suitable for Liquid Fertilizer.

 

 Water tank liners are   an excellent, cost effective solution for repairing older water tanks of all shapes and sizes.

 Liner materials vary. HDPE liners for earth dams are also available.

Portable water tank liners are fabricated from materials that meets NSF61 for drinking water.

They are maintenance free.  Our Liners is UV stabilized.

 

We can supply a wide variety of Liners in different colors, shapes and sizes, be it for a concrete or steel dam.
